Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. In this blog, I will be talking about poetry as well as sharing my own poems with everyone. I am new to this so please bear with me. I wanted to start off with a poem I wrote two years ago and it is in the point of view of an animal that was lost to any kind of abuse. So if you have kids that this might upset, please know that I mean no ill will. I watched an episode of Animal Cops: Houston and this poem came right after. A Single Cry For Help

A single cry for help,
That is hard to flee.
A single cry for help,
That is enough for me.
A single cry for help,
Why can't you see?
A single cry for help,
Why couldn't you have saved me?
A single cry for help,
It makes the flowers cry,
As they wither and die,
Because of a single cry for help.
A single cry for help,
It can go unnoticed,
A single cry for help,
It could have been avoided.
A single cry for help,
It doesn't need to be.
A single cry for help,
Why'd it have to be me...?
